and the countdown begins.

I'm not exactly sure why I decided to start my countdown today, but 15 sounded like a good number. 15 days and I will be a married woman! If you were to tell me a year ago I would be married on April 27th 2012, I would have called you a crazy person and walked away...okay, maybe it wouldn't have been that dramatic. Honestly though, I would have never thought I'd be the girl married at age 21. At first I was a little uncomfortable with the idea.. but I have come to realize that I'm ready for this. I don't need to be finished with school or have a career before I tie the knot. I now have the opportunity to spend those wonderful years with someone I love. Kevin and I have had kind of a peculiar "courtship" (I feel like a 90 year old woman would use that term, but I thought it was appropriate.) It started out as a simple friendship and grew from there. We both openly admitted that we weren't absolutely smitten the moment we locked eyes, but that's what I like about us. It was a step-by-step process that has grown into something so beautiful. My point is..... this guy makes me happy.
