The silver Lining

We explored.
We jumped into a freezing lake below.
We played frisbee in the meadow and admired wild flowers.
We stayed up late around the campfire and wished upon shooting stars.
We ate our body weight in s'mores.
We met a mountain goat and skipped rocks across the water.
There was a moment where I looked up at the billions of stars, took a deep breath, 

and tucked it back in the part of my brain where my fondest memories lie.
