Over the weekend we celebrated Kevin's 27th birthday with a "surprise party." I was feeling real good about my secret planning skills until about a week before when he happened to see a text. After he read it I snatched my phone away like a ninja, and we stared at each other for about 20 seconds in silence.. then he just burst out laughing. I had tried so hard to be extrrrra sneaky, but it was inevitable. Despite the spoiled surprise, we had a great time with our friends and family. As I was putting together the invite list I realized that Kevin has soooo many friends.. I mean I invited close to 60 people! He really is the nicest guy I know and I've never met anyone who doesn't instantly love him. Happy birthday ya big hunk! 27 never looked so good.

    I'm the WORST at keeping secrets and planning surprises. My husband always knows exactly what he's getting for everything. He gets it out of me so easily. It's pathetic. Looked like a fun time though!
