When I was in second grade, the Maverick near my house held a coloring contest. One day as I was catching up on an episode of Arthur, the phone rang.. it was them, calling to inform me I had won! Other than that golden moment, games, drawings, and contests have been nothing but false hope. Until now that is... Rylee Blake has nominated me for the Liebster award, and my excitement is equivalent to when the Maverick cashier said I could pick out a free Laffy Taffy. This award is given to blogs with less than 200 followers and is a great way to get your name out there. So here's how it works.

1. I've never worn a pair of matching socks.
2. I hate popcorn. I know I know, "what?" "huh" "how do you live?"
3. There is special place nestled in my heart for kittens, old people, and a nice mustache.
4. Kevin often compares me to an infant, because if I'm cold, hungry, or tired.. I'll more than likely start crying.
5. I'm currently learning Spanish via Rosetta Stone + a patient husband who happens to be fluent.
6. I did ballet for ten years of my life.

1. If you could do anything and money was no matter what would you do?
become a photographer and travel the world with my love.

Thanksgiving. (and I'm not just saying that because it's tomorrow.)
3. What goals do you have for the next year?
Save up some serious cash flow for our first home, apply/be accepted into a nursing program (cross your fingers), go to Disneyland.

The Grinch. Year round.
5. Who is your biggest role model?
I have several, but my grandpa is someone I've always looked up to. He's such a Christ-like example and is constantly thinking of others... not to mention the fact that he's brilliant.

My mom. Handsdown. She's taught me everything I know.
