Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday.. yes, even before Christmas. I guess it's the fat kid in me, but there's just something about eating until you hurt while simultaneously spending an entire day with people you love. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas! In fact, I've been jammin to 100.3's holiday hits for three days straight now.. but I've always had a soft spot for Thanksgiving. This year we spent it with my cousins on my mom's side, and the food was topppp notch. Later that evening we saw "The Book Thief".. you guys, it was unbelievable. If you haven't read the book.. do it now, and then go see the movie.
The following morning, I hit up RC Willey's Black Friday sale to snag a refrigerator. When I showed up at 8 o' clock (not much of a morning person) the snooty greeter said "I don't mean to be rude, but you're about two hours too late.. all of the door busters are gone ma'am." I wandered further into the store and immediately found myself a sales rep. I then proceeded to whip out the puppy dog eyes and BOOM.. sweet talked the poor guy into to giving me a deal.. Score.
We spent the rest of our weekend relaxing and soaking in the sweet break from school, and then Monday morning I was slapped in the face by finals week, which I should be studying for right now so....... yeah.
I'm so excited to go and see the book thief!! I'm sort of a book worm and no matter if I hated or loved the book if they come out with a movie I always have to go see it. By the way, you're blog is adorable.
