Monday, April 15

Sundays are my favorite days for three reasons. 1) I get to stuff my face with homemade food. 2) I get spend the entire day with my guy, no distractions. 3) I am able to learn and be uplifted. Yesterday as I was sitting in church, a man got up and spoke about loving others. He talked about seeing others as who they are, which is a child of God. He explained how sometimes we tend to give up on people when they aren't necessarily meeting "our standards" and how we should love them in spite of where they are in life. Sometimes I get wrapped up in worrying about someone who might be struggling, or distancing themselves from me.. but his whole point was that none of those things matter. It doesn't matter if someone is making decisions we don't agree with or choosing a path that may be different from ours, because ultimately we just need to love. Love them for who they are, not for where they are. I love my Faith because I'm able to gain such profound insight each week. In honor of this post I created this little print as a reminder. Happy Monday, friends.
